Wondering what to wear to your unique photo session that you have coming up? Don’t sweat it, I suggest keeping it simple! You can mix patterns as long as they have the same pops of color and similar tones as everyone else in your shoot, for instance cool tones or warm tones like teal in the summer or cranberry in the fall or the cooler months, which are both beautiful however are very different and can be great main colors to stick with.
If you choose a key color that everyone can have a little bit of and just go from there with choosing what tone you are sticking with. The best advice when in doubt is that earth tones are always great during all times of year! I love hunter green, mustard yellow and cranberry year round. From there, you can choose to do denim, linen or khaki pants, skirts and shorts etc to give everyone their own choice while incorporating the tones that you chose to go with.
Most of all, don’t forget to have fun with it! If you want to keep it classic, white tops and jeans or black tops and jeans can also work too, yet adding accessories or textured fabrics such as a cozy sweater or special blanket to help bring it up to date and most of all give your photo shoot your own unique look!
Lastly I strongly suggest staying away from screen print tops with a design or a logo. Feel free to send your ideas ahead of time. I will list some of my favorite colors based on my editing preference:
